A Grade Coaching Position 2014

Con Kapnistis has announced his decision to not continue as OISC A Grade Coach in 2014. As the A Grade Coach for the past two seasons (2012 & 2013), Con was instrumental in taking the Club to its highest ever Premier Division finish (3rd), as well as placing 5th in 2012 and implementing significant changes, both on and off the field. Con leaves the Club well placed to challenge for honours in 2014. The Club would like to thank Con for his service over the last two years and we wish him well with his future endeavours in the game.

To this extent, Old Ignatians’ Soccer Club (OISC) is seeking expressions of interest for the position of A Grade Coach in season 2014. OISC will be playing in the Saturday Premier Division of the SAASL. OISC will be looking to challenge for honours again in 2014, and to achieve this, the current A Grade squad has verbally committed to return for season 2014.

OISC had previously finished 5th in the Saturday Premier Division in 2012 and 7th in 2011. Recent honours include the 2007 and 2010 Saturday Division 2 Championships. The Club is keen to foster a competitive culture and is therefore seeking a highly motivated individual who is able to help OISC challenge for honours in the coming season. The A Grade Coach will work closely with the B Grade Coach (Reserves) to foster player development and enable maximum competitiveness.

OISC currently has five men’s teams and over 100 players registered across the Saturday Divisions of the SAASL and is expecting to field similar numbers in Season 2014. The Club is based at Margaret Bond Oval, Conyngham Street, Glenunga and trains twice weekly.

Remuneration is negotiable based upon experience and qualifications.
