OISC will be holding its 2014 Annual General Meeting along with the Christmas Drinks on Sunday December 7 at The Maylands Hotel from 2:00pm.
This will be a chance to meet new A Grade Coach, Theo Mylonas as well as have your say for Season 2015.
The club will also put on a few drinks for those in attendance.
Pursuant to clause 6.4 of the OISC constitution, OISC will be holding its 2014 Annual General Meeting on Sunday, December 7 at the Maylands Hotel from 2pm.
The following Business will be conducted at the AGM:
– President’s Annual Report;
– Treasurer’s Annual Report;
– Election of the Officers of the Club;
– Nomination of Life Members;
– Determination of 2015 competition;
– OISC 5 Year Plan Report; and
– Any other business raised by members.
Election of Officers
If you are interested in joining the OISC committee for 2015, please ensure a nomination is received by the OISC Secretary in writing, stating: – The office nominated for; and – Signed by the nominee, their proposer and their seconder (all of whom must be members of the Club).
All nominations must be received by the Secretary seven (7) days prior to the AGM. Please e-mail the Secretary. Note that to nominate for any one of the “Principal Offices” (President, Treasurer, Secretary), you must have previously held an office. Nomination of Life Members “Life members” of the Club shall be elected by a three quarters majority of members present at the AGM on a recommendation of the Executive Committee.
For the 2014 AGM, the Executive Committee recommends Mark Andrawos for OISC Life Membership as a result of his long standing service to the Club.
Mark joined the Club in 1998 (17 years) and has been an active member throughout his time at the club. Mark has played approximately 300 games, scoring 71 career goals receiving a host of awards for his on field achievements winning the Buratto Family Cup for B Grade Leading Goalscorer on two occasions (2004 & 2007) and the Senior C Leading Goalscorer in 2009. Mark captained the B Grade to the Reserve Cup win in 2001 and to league success in 2007. His on field leadership has gained the respect of his fellow players and saw him win the C Grade Players Player in 2009. Mark’s service has also seen him serve on the committee as well as taking the gloves as a goalkeeper including time as A Grade keeper he has also assisted with coaching and refereeing.
