4 V 2 TORRENS VALLEY

Lineup; Pete Murray, Lai, Radcliffe, Williams, Patten (Callaghan), Gilbert, Caeren (Durand), Ortner, D Ciccarrello, M Ciccarrello, A Rossi
It was an inspired move, Andrew Rossi upfront. He's been a streaky full back so far in his OISC career loving the runs forward and this week he was unleashed without the worry of having to track back. A welcome return to the lineup for Radcliffe, Butters, Gilbert, Ortner and Adrian "thats my cousin!!!!" Caeren.
This game was dominated by the team in gold, the work rate was high and the passing was spot on, a complete turn around from last weeks disappointment. A fine example of the way to play was Joel Ortners efforts this week, his distribution was fantastic as was his composure, so sure not every pass was a "killer ball" but he always found a player and never lost the ball and this definitely enhanced the team performance as all players tried to replicate this on the field.
Except Wills who mooned the crowd when Andrew Rossi scored his second and put the game beyond doubt, a poor effort Wills you've tarnished you're image...hahaha.
The Ciccarrello's played well this week and both scored, although Deans was more fortuous as he, shall we say "lobbed" the keeper from outside the box. Mark's was a class finish, a goal that was strikingly similar to Torres' goal in the final of Euro 2008. Dean, Mark and Emerson were all on the field at the same time towards the end which may very well be a record in OISC history.
But the day belonged to Andrew Rossi, two goals and it should have been more as his pace and trickery put Torrens Valley on the back foot all day. It was a satisfying win after that shocking loss to these guys at home last year.
