DIV 1 FIRSTS 2 v 5 STURT MARION

Unfortunately only half the team showed up thinking we could win on Saturday.  This really hurt our chances going into the clash with Sturt Marion.  Perhaps our minds were on the upcoming league matches which are of more importance to this club, but it was still disappointing to turn in a performance like this on the weekend.

There were exceptions to the rule of course; Manou played well and scored two very well taken goals.  Barolo put it all on the line for the sake of the team yet again.  Rossi was very serviceable in the holding midfield role.  And Sawicki provided the team with plenty of run out wide.  Not much else to say though.  We were soundly beaten by a side who actually wanted to win.  Hopefully we can re-group for this weekends ‘grand final’ with BOSA (who we owe big time!).  Three points is a must!
